In the waiting periond of the contest, there is lots of Pro surfing action to be seen on the surf spots around Peniche.
We saw pro surfers training and preparing for the Rip Curl Pro Portugal 2012 to begin in Supertubos.
Maybe today, we will already be watching the surfers on that wave, as the next call is booked for today at 12:00.
But, it’s amazing to see them even on the smaller and less dificult waves. Would sure love to push my surfing skill to a level close to them and full enjoy the rides on my waves to the maximum. The thing I love the most about surfing is that it is so trully dificult . . . in skill and in strenght, that I feel that there is a neverending growth to be involved in this activity.
And than you have to add the developing skill to watch the conditions of the ocean and chose the right wave for you to surf, and you get a truly close comparison to the everyday life activity.
I really feel on deep and most profound levels, that my growth in surfing the great swells of the Ocean, massively affects my skill of surfing the swells of every days life. It’s an amazing connection and I am deeply intereted if the Pro surfers feel like this as well.
It’s just amazing to see what they are able to do with the waves in the ocean.
