A Mountain Road To Adventure

A Mountain Road To Adventure

I’ve met with my friend Nina, and we drove over the mountain pass Pokljuka to the Bohinj Lake. I just love the Pokljuka Mountain. It’s such a mystically beautiful forest. Every time I am there I feel really different . . . in a pleasant kind of way.

The SOurce Of Earths Powers

The Source Of Earths Powers

Our first destination was “The Energy Stones”. They’re suppose to be a source of the earth’s magnetic core energy points. I don’t know what to think about this idea. But it is true, that this stones were put here almost 300 years ago, by one bio-energetic guy.

And I do feel better, more alive and focused every time I visit this place. And the whole feeling on this mountain is totally different. They say, the whole mountain is one big energy point. I don’t know about that. I just really like the place and being here and being here after more than 6 months . . . was especially pleasant.

We counituned our journey over some forest road to visit the area of Konjska Dolina. This is a trulyl magical mountain place. It’s an old traditional mountain village, used by shepherd in the summer months, while they were in the mountains with their sheep and cows.

On the way down, we passed a really special forest area. Normally in our country you don’t see a a green bottom of the forest like here. And the mountain sun light of the sun approaching the horizon. It really made this and enlighten forest sight. We checked for blueberries, but the bushes were empty. It’s to early in the year.

Buying Some Home-made Bread And Cheese

Buying Some Home-made Bread And Cheese

On our way to paddle on lake Bohinj today, we passed a home-made bread and cheese stand by the road in Stara Fužina. We were already very hungry, so an idea for an evening picnic came to mind.  We’ve bought a very tasty fresh home made bread and  some typical Cheese of Bohinj, called Bohinjski Sir. The best cheese in the world in my taste.

We’ve stopped in the shop to buy a couple of beers and some sausages  for the picnic and arrived at the lake just in time of the sunset. Was just a perfect paddle session . . . surfing in the heart of the Apls.

It’s kind of special. Just training for the waves in 55 days . . .

We’ve enjoyed the sights of beauty of Bohinj for a while and than drove in the direction of home, to this really beautiful beach near the Sava Bohinjka river to make the fire and the all natural dinner. Was a really great day with after a long time,  spent with the person known for a lot of time. Was enjoyable overall.

And the raw fire baked sausages . . . taste just the best.
